Northern hairy-nosed wombat offspring gallery
Offspring 1 - July 2012. Ear-tagged female northern hairy-nosed wombat at Burrow 270 with her young-at-foot, estimated at about 15 months old (born April 2011).
Offspring 2 - July 2013. Ear-tagged female at Burrow 270 with a medium-sized pouch young, estimated at 6 months old (born Jan 2013). This young was photographed as a juvenile in January 2015 when it was 2 years old.
Offspring 3 - November 2015. Ear-tagged female at Burrow 270 with a medium pouch young, est at 6 months old (born May 2015). The female is looking a bit bony and tatty which is common for females with young, especially at the end of the dry season.
Offspring 3 - August 2016. Ear-tagged female at B270 with medium-sized young-at-foot, estimated at 15 months old.
Offspring 4 - May 2017. Ear-tagged female at Burrow 270 with large pouch young, estimated at 8 months old (born October 2016). The female has recovered in condition from her ‘tatty’ state in August 2016.
