Sustainable Loads Modelling for SEQ Catchments
The Sustainable Loads Modelling for SEQ Catchments report is supporting information for the development of nutrients and sediments targets for south east Queensland (SEQ) catchments. The initial work is for information purposes only and further works are required, and the Department will be in further contact on this matter. The work parallels the development of basin targets under the Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan for each of the 35 Great Barrier Reef basins.
Of note, Sunshine Coast Regional Council provides an example of how the modelling can be used, when calibrated, for local scenario investigations. Please contact Graham Webb at Sunshine Coast Regional Council for further information.
