Capricorn Curtis Coast and Gladstone basins
In November 2014, the environmental values (EVs) and water quality objectives (WQOs) for Capricorn Curtis Coast waters were finalised and are now included in schedule 1 of the Environmental Protection (Water and Wetland Biodiversity) Policy—the EPP (Water and Wetland Biodiversity). This followed a process of planning and stakeholder consultation.
These water quality objectives underpin the the Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership report card scores for water quality.
To assist the development of the Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership report card, information on reporting zones linked to WQOs in the schedule documents is contained in the following:
Scheduled 2014. Draft consultation materials (reporting, maps — coastal/marine waters) were released for comment in 2017, and are now under review.
